Box Office: HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 to Scare Off the Competition

Dracula (Adam Sandler), Griffin the Invisible Man (David Spade), Murray the Mummy, Frank (Kevin James), Mavis (Selena Gomez), Wayne (Steve Buscemi) and Johnny (Andy Samberg) in Columbia Pictures' HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2.

With four films opening wide and two strong holdovers from last weekend, it should help end September on a high note at the box office.

A Mann and a Goodman Drop Their Anchors at SKULL ISLAND

PROMETHEUS 2 Title Jettisons Connection to PROMETHEUS

Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS is one of the biggest cinematic disappointments of the last decade for me. Despite looking fabulous, PROMETHEUS was a tedious and uninspired return to the ALIEN franchise. It was a mixed bag critically, but managed to make enough cash to ensure a sequel. We’ve been threatened with that sequel for the last few years. Now we have a name for that threat.

The eloquently titled movie site Hey U Guys have exclusively revealed that the title for PROMETHEUS 2 is ALIEN: PARADISE LOST.
